As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's strategy to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and university-led sustainable development, Mansoura University has achieved a major milestone after its Enactus team won first place at the Enactus Egypt National Competition.

The team secured the top position among 35 universities from across Egypt with its ATHR project, an initiative designed to advance the circular economy through innovative waste recycling solutions.

ATHR Promotes Sustainable Resource Utilization

The ATHR project focuses on recycling agricultural waste and discarded textiles, transforming them into environmentally friendly products with economic value.

By converting waste into sustainable materials, the initiative contributes to the growth of the green economy, improves resource efficiency, and helps reduce environmental pollution, while supporting Egypt's broader sustainable development objectives.
